A recent guide, published in collaboration with CIPD, the Centre for Ageing Better and REC, sets out five key actions to help you become a more age-inclusive employer
Based on the Centre for Ageing Betterโs Good Recruitment for Older Workers (GROW) project findings, this guide, published in partnership with the Centre for Ageing Better and REC, is designed to provide practical suggestions for employers to become more age-inclusive.
This guide offers five key actions employers can take to make their recruitment more age-inclusive:
- Put age into Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)
- Know your numbers
- Debias your job adverts
- Check your process
- Build awareness and confidence.
By following these actions employers will be able to take advantage of the benefits of being more age-inclusive, including:
